We receive a lot of energy and ideas from our energetic students and parents. We will do our best to support each student so that they can get closer to who they want to be and their goals.

Appointed as the chief teacher in 2020.
Kazumi Knox

I am very grateful that my four children learned at AJS for nine years. My favorite saying is, "Become the best version of yourself!" I hope to create a classroom where children can maximize their potential.
Kazue Walther
Teacher ( Middle School )
Born in Okayama, raised in the tropical Kochi.
From 1975 to 2000, I worked as a teacher at the Anchorage Japanese School when there were about 150 students, and now I am enjoying teaching at this school again in 2020.
I have classes with junior high school students once a week, and I want to create a class that makes them want to come to school even on saturdays.

7 years at Anchorage Japanese School. 2 years of experience as a teacher here. Together with the hard-working first graders, I am having fun teaching Japanese and math.
I feel that the student's Japanese ability is improving day by day, making me surprised and happy every day.
